The second project of my medieval art course.
The object was to create a border for a bible verse. Drawn over the course of one week, I feel like I could have done more with this if I had a little more time, but am still pleased with the final turnout.
Ink and watercolors on 8.5" x 11" parchment paper. Again, the scan doesn't do the gold full justice.
